Spreading Birthday Cheer Throughout the Community
Kids Give Back campers enjoyed a new summer project by making nearly 50 birthday kits for Reston Strong. The organization provides food to local families every Sunday at the Reston YMCA and was thrilled to have ready-made birthday kits to distribute.
Each kit, packaged in a foil pan, included:
- Cake mix
- Candles
- Frosting
- Sprinkles
- Plates
- Napkins
- A Happy Birthday banner
- And a handmade birthday card
