Summer Volunteer Camp, July 28-August 1

It’s year seven of our popular  Summer Volunteer Camp!

During Summer Volunteer Camp, children ages 6 to 12 will participate in enjoyable service activities appropriate for their age group. The week will be filled with opportunities to give back to the community, and they will return home inspired to do even more!

Children will participate in these service projects, and many others:

• Preparing household buckets for Gracing Spaces
• Making Boxes of Sunshine for Sweet Julia Grace—All Smiles—with pen beading, bracelet making, cards
• Preparing 200 meals for our neighbors in need

Plus, Friday is Field Day when kids play games, enjoy take-home crafts, have a bake sale, and have tons of fun with friends!

NEW Walk in My Shoes Program at each camp!

Walk in My Shoes is a program that helps elementary schools build empathy and teach inclusion skills that will last a lifetime. Kids Give Back is the first camp to adopt this program and will offer hands-on activities and discussions at every camp. The activities will focus on accessibility to the world around us and food allergies, and teach kids how to be inclusive, kind, and helpful to children who have different abilities.

Teachers and teen volunteers will lead the camps. Registration is limited to 24 attendees, and camps fill up quickly.
