Kids Volunteer Day
October 2 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Fairfax County Public Schools are closed on October 2, and we are offering another one of our popular Kids Volunteer Days. Children ages 6-12 will participate in volunteer service projects, meet nonprofit leaders, enjoy games, a pizza lunch, and more. Volunteer projects will be announced closer to the date, but may include:
- Assembling snack packs for our neighbors who are food insecure
- Preparing custom art kits for hospitalized children
- Making blankets and toys for animal shelters
- Writing letters to military members serving overseas.
Registration will open in September and is limited to 24 attendees.
