Kids Volunteer Day

Fairfax County Public Schools are closed on April 1, making this the perfect opportunity for kids ages 6-12 to volunteer in our community. Kids Volunteer Day includes service projects, guest speakers, a pizza lunch, games, and more. Kids will learn about the 4Ts of volunteering—time, talent, treasures, and teamwork—and be introduced to various nonprofit organizations in our community.
Volunteer service projects may include:
- Filling snack packs for food-insecure families
- Writing letters to overseas military
- Preparing art kits for hospitalized children and more.
Our guest speakers and the final projects will be announced closer to the date.
