Giving Together, A Family-friendly Volunteer Day

Join Volunteer Fairfax on January 15, 2024, for their annual family-friendly volunteer event: Give Together. This event occurs on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the only National Holiday dedicated to volunteer service and designated as a “day on, not a day off.” This event is intended for families who want to serve together and learn about ways to support local nonprofits. Kids Give Back will host two volunteer service projects during this free event.
Families with children as young as 5 years old are invited to participate in thoughtful, engaging projects; children will earn passport stamps as they complete projects and are encouraged to participate in a reflection on Martin Luther King, Jr.’s legacy of service and community building.
