Planning is underway for Summer Volunteer Camp, a signature Kids Give Back program in which children ages 6–12 make a real difference in the community. With new service projects, both full‑day and half‑day options, and locations in Fairfax, Vienna, and Oakton, this year is shaping up to be one of the strongest yet.
Campers will take part in hands‑on volunteer projects, including:
- Making meals for local Veterans
- Painting canvases to brighten pediatric hospital rooms
- Assembling backpacks for Fairfax County Public School students
- Preparing Birthday Kits for families in need
In addition, campers will enjoy Fun Friday, featuring special guests, crafts, face painting, games, and more.
Parents consistently praise the camp’s mission‑driven environment. One parent of a 2025 camper shared, “What I love about this camp is that the kids are on an equal level; there’s no competition, just a desire to give back.” And another said: “The camp fosters a love of volunteering in kids, including cultivating empathy and sympathy.”
